Hot Yellow Bean Sauce – Nam Jim Kow Mun Gai -In Thailand, you can spot a Kow Mun Gai

glass case. Kow Mun Gai is a very
popular Thai lunch and also late night
snack. Kow Mun Gai is supposed to be
served with yellow bean sauce and winter
Prep Time: 20 min
1 tablespoon chicken soup
10 sprigs chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon Dark Soy Sauce
1 piece ginger
1 teaspoon sugar
1-2 sliced Thai chili pepper
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon Yellow Bean Sauce
1 clove garlic Optional
Tips and Techniques: For kids and those who
are not so fond of spicy sauces, sweet dark soy sauce is
served with the chicken instead of this sauce.
Peel a piece of ginger, about 2 inches long. Ground
the ginger in mortar or blender or julienne the ginger.
Slice Thai chili pepper and cut the cilantro.
Garlic is optional.
Combine all ingredients and serve in a small bowl
with Kow Mun Gai.
