Kadhambam Rice
Some dishes don’t have alternative and you can’t get anywhere except it should be prepared by you or your mom. The flavor and taste of Kadhambam rice is so good.

 
       Ingredients How to?
  • Rice – 1 cup
  • Toor dal – 1 cup
  • Sambar powder- 1 tbs
  • 1/2 cup Bengal gram – ½ cup
  • Tamarind extract- 1tbs
  • Mixed vegetables- 3 cups
  • salt to taste
  • red chillies-2 nos
  • Spring of curry leaves-few
  •  
    • In a pan fry the mixed vegetables (do not over fry) for some time. Mix tamarind extract with samabr powder, salt, turmeric. Remove from flame after 5 minutes.
    • In a pressure cooker take rice with this mixture and add toor dal and pressure cook (5 whistles).
    • Smash gently after cooked.
    • Heat oil in a pan put mustard seed and chillies. Let it splutter.
    • Mix this season with Kadhamba Sadham.
