PAZHAM (PLANTAIN) PORI -

       Ingredients How to?
  • Ripe plantains-2
  • Bengal gram flour-1/4 cup
  • Maida (all purpose flour)-1/2 cup
  • Rice flour-1/2 cup
  • Sugar-3 tbs
  • Turmeric powder- a pinch
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Oil for deep fry
  1. Cut the plantain (Length wise) into thin pieces (Not too thin) and keep aside.
  2. Take Bengal gram flour, Maida, Rice flour, Turmeric powder and sugar in bowl; mix water till the mixture turns to semi fluid state.
  3. In a pan take oil for deep fry.
  4. Dip plantain slice in the mixture (Make sure that the slice gets thick coating of mixture).
  5. Deep fry till it turns to golden brown (Not too brown).
  6. Serve hot with tea.
