Fish:  

The top heart disease fighter. The theory is that fish oil lowers cholesterol and triglycerides, makes blood less sticky, and perhaps even decreases blood pressure. 
Beyond the heart benefits it' s claimed that fish can alleviate  rheumatoid arthritis and other auto immune disorders. It is also claimed that fish can reduce the size of tumours by keeping tumour cells in control.
Oily fish helps block breast cancer because omega-3 acid content boosts the immune system ability to respond to developing tumours.

Grapes

Researchers in Chicago have discovered that the chemical found in red wine which is thought to reduce the risk of heart attack, comes from grapes. The chemical is an oestrogen found in high concentration in fruit skin.

Tomato

Tomato contains a substance called lycopene which is heavy-weight anti cancer agent and may prevent stomach and lung cancer. High intake, specially of cooked or processed tomatoes, may reduce risk of prostate cancer.

Bitter Gourd (Karela)

Bitter gourd, (Karela), (Momordica - carantia).
50 ml raw karela juice daily improves blood glucose tolerance in non-insulin dependent diabetics. The improved glucose tolerance is not associated with raised serum insulin. 

Carrots

Carrots are bursting with beta-carotene. It is  necessary for growth, for the healthy functioning of the retina in the eyes, the lining of the breathing and digestive passages and the urinary and genital tracts. 
Prepare carrots by scrubbing their skins, not scraping or peeling, since the greatest concentration of vitamins and minerals lie here.
