Tips for Good Eating

  • Make breakfast the largest & the dinner the lightest meal of the day

  • Be a nibbler & not a gourmet

  • Eat your salad before you eat your meal

  • Do not starve yourself & overeat subsequently

  • Before cooking, remove all fat from meats & also skin from chicken

  • Do not sieve wheat & millet flours as it reduces the nutrients & fiber

  • Repeated heating of oils should be avoided

  • Use a scrubber & not a peeler for removing the skin of vegetables

  • Use non-stick pans & vessels to cut down use of cooking oils

  • Do not overuse salt.
