Nail Care
Are you tired of the
yellow-colored nails, after every varnish-removal session? How many
times have you cursed your chipped nails before hurrying to a
party?
There is a cure for this and you can get around these problems – try
being different, be a trendsetter, buff your nails! Buffing nails with
the right tools not only creates a glossy finish, it improves their
health by increasing blood flow to the nails bed and gives a respite
from dehydrating chemicals.
File nails to mirror cuticle shape, and don’t saw back and forth (that
weakens them). Tilt a medium-grit emery board under one nail; pull
gently to center. Lift
and repeat.
Soften cuticles with cream. Carefully push raggedy skin back with a
cuticle stick; for badly neglected nails, a “cuticle stone” gives
better results. Wash hands.
Dot nails with polishing cream. Using a chamois buffer, burnish lightly
but firmly for 15 to 30 seconds each or until shiny. Lift the tool
between strokes so
nails don’t overheat and dry out.
