Lentil and Spinach

- 1/2 teacup
masoor dal
- 1 teacup
chopped spinach
- 3 sliced
onions
- 3medium
sized tomatoes, cut into big pieces
- 1 teacup skim
milk
- 2 cloves
crushed garlic (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon
chili powder
- Salt to
taste
For
Serving

- Mix the
spinach, onions, tomatoes, masoor dal and garlic
- Add 7
teacups of water and cook in pressure cooker for 10
minutes. When cooked, blend in a mixer. Sieve
- Heat the
milk and add to the soup
- Add the
chili powder and salt
* Serve
