Tomato Cocktail cups

Preparation time : 10 minutes * No cooking * Makes 12 cups.

Ingredients How To ?
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 grated cucumber
  • teacup fresh curds
  • A dash of finely chopped green chili
  • 1 tablespoon crumbled paneer
  • salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander for decoration.
  1. Cut out sides 1 and 2 of each tomato as shown in the accompanying sketch. Then turn around and cut out sides 3 and 4. Scoop out the pulp from each side so that firm tomato cups are left.
  2. Squeeze out water from the cucumber.
  3. add the curds, green chili, paneer and salt and mix.
  4. Fill the tomato cups with this mixture and place in the refrigerator.

*Decorate with dill and serve cold.

Health Information: Use this low-calorie snack for cocktails instead of high-calorie accompaniments like nuts and fried snacks.
