Tomato Apple Drink

Preparation time: 5 minutes * Cooking time: 10 minutes   * Makes 6 glasses.

Ingredients How to?
  • 6 medium tomatoes

  • 2 large apples 
  • Salt to taste
  1. Cut the tomatoes into big pieces.

  2. Peel the apples and cut into big pieces.
  3. Mix the tomatoes and apples with ½ teacup of water and put to cook.
  4. When cooked, blend the mixture in a liquidizer. Strain.
  5. Chill

       * Serve chilled with ice cubes.

Health Information: Apples have a high fibre content and are rich in pectin which has the capacity of absorbing matter and increasing intestinal bulk. Apples may be prescribed in diarrhoea.
