Chow Mein Chicken Casserole
       Ingredients How to?

  •  1 T butter or margarine
  •  1 small red bell pepper -- chopped
  •  2 garlic cloves -- minced
  •  2 8-oz packages sliced fresh mushrooms
  •  1/3 cup slivered almonds
  •  3 green onions -- chopped
  • ] 1 can cream of mushroom soup -- undiluted
  •  3/4 cup mayonnaise
  •  2 t soy sauce
  •  3 cups chopped cooked chicken
  •  1/4 t pepper
  •  1 3-oz can chow mein noodles


1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Melt butter in a large skillet. Add red bell pepper, garlic, and mushrooms; sauté until tender.
3. Stir in almonds and next 6 ingredients; pour in a lightly greased 11- x 7" baking dish. Sprinkle with chow mein noodles.
4. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
