CHINESE VEGETABLE FRIED RICE

       Ingredients How to?

  • Basmati rice - 2 cups
  • Chopped carrot - 1 cup
  • Chopped beans - 1 cup
  • Chopped spring onion - 1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce - 4 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Garlic - 1 tsp (chopped)

  1. Wash and cook basmati rice till it is 80% done.
  2. Drain the rice and keep it aside. Steam chopped carrot and beans.
  3.  Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large kadai and add chopped garlic.
  4. When garlic becomes golden brown, add cooked carrot and beans and sauté for a while.
  5. Add cooked rice along with soya sauce, pepper powder and salt.
  6.  Mix it well and keep it in a low flame for 10 minutes.
  7. Add chopped spring onion and mix it again and remove from fire.
