Chicken Roast Chinese style-

       Ingredients How to?

  • 800 grams boneless chicken, cut into pieces
  • 6 garlic cloves, crushed
  • ˝ inch ginger
  • 2 red chillies
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 8 green chillies, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons chilli sauce
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoons freshly chopped coriander leaves
 
  1. Grind garlic, ginger and red chillies into a smooth paste. Add a little water if required.
  2. Heat two tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan. Add half the onions and sauté till golden brown. Add the masala paste, chicken pieces, salt and one cup of water.
  3. Stir to mix and cook for three to five minutes. Heat the remaining oil in a separate pan. Add the remaining onions and green chillies. Sauté till light brown.
  4.  Add the cooked chicken, chilli sauce, soy sauce and tomato sauce.
  5. Mix well and cook for a minute.

    Serve hot, garnished with finely chopped coriander leaves.
